The fan club of Mic Capes (of which I feel I am the unofficial president or at least janitor) has been patiently waiting for his next project. In 2020, he did bless us with a couple of singles in “Urgency” and “Vanna White” along with some guest appearances alongside artists like Cool Nutz and Brookefield Deuce. As dope as those all were, we definitely are ready for some more flames from the North Portland ambassador.
This last week, he teased us with a remix of the OPVS Sound produced “North By Nature” from 2019’s Cold Blooded. And while he doesn’t drop a fresh verse of his own, he did bring together three of the Rose City’s most dangerous in Mat Randol, Vinnie DeWayne, and Illmac. The trio all brutalize their verses with plenty of rewind material. Hit it up.
